Kia ora, I'm Filipo and this is my site, and my monitoring project. I'm a survivor of childhood sexual, physical and psychological abuse. I was also sexually assaulted by staff in a health facility as a child, and was subjected to conversion practices. Despite this start in my life, I managed to gain a PhD in public policy and economics. In 2023 I was appointed alongside a community of other people who'd experienced abuse in care and faith based settings, to design a redress system following the recommendations of the Royal Commission's interim report He Purapura Ora, He Mara Tipu. 

Why am I doing this? In 2022 I had a non-traumatic brain injury. This has reduced my ability to have hobbies or do physical activity. So, I've turned to this to keep my brain active.
