Survivor Community Groups

A collective of Survivors with a focus on policy and legislative change in response to the Royal Commission. 

A collective of Survivors holding exhibitions and gatherings to foster arts as healing from state system abuse. 

A Survivor collective with a focus on wellbeing at home and in the community. They hold community forums to foster connections. 

The authoring group behind Putahi te Mauri, he Wai Ora e, remains in contact and responds to queries about proposed redress schemes and the ways Survivor wellbeing was to be supported. 

We would love to hear from groups who are forming to provide safe spaces, connection opportunities, new approaches to healing etc etc!

Survivors have taken individual legal actions, spoken publicly and supported other organisations to respond to the Recommendations of the Royal Commission of Inquiry.
